Since the brand’s inception in 1959, Grace wine has seen great success, winning awards at international competitions, being featured in global publications like the Financial Times, the World Atlas of Wine, and Nikkei, and cultivating Japan’s unique grape variety, Koshu. Today, Grace wine is served by airlines ANA and JAL in first and business class.
This 2014 Merlot features a nose of dried herbs, pepper, cinnamon sticks, and prunes. Plums and raisins join the palate, which is partially sour, and delivers well-rounded tannins. Reminiscent of concentrated berry juice, this wine is smooth, rounded, and wonderfully balanced.
