The company founded in the small town of Yoichi, Hokkaido, by Masataka Taketsuru, is now Japan’s leading maker of whisky. Despite its popularity, Nikka still adheres to the traditions of its founder. This elegantly decorated bottle looks so good that drinking its contents would be a shame, though the whisky does, of course, have the excellent taste you’ve come to expect from Nikka. It has crane illustrations on its slim bottle.
*This particular bottling was produced prior to the introduction of Japanese whisky labeling standards in February 2021.*
