The Newest & Rarest Bottle Of Yamazaki This Year
Here’s your chance to own the year’s rarest bottle of Yamazaki whisky. The Yamazaki Single Cask 2018 is a 34 year old release from the world renowned Suntory Yamazaki distillery. It’s a single cask expression that was distilled in 1984 then bottled in 2018, making it the most recent and, most likely, one of the last bottlings in Suntory’s renowned single cask series.
Suntory Single Cask Is Whisky At It’s Finest
With the popularity Suntory has reached, the company no longer offers single cask bottlings to the public. Many of the casks that were purchased back in the 1980s have been lost over time and are now confined to the history books, making this bottling one of the rarest expressions in Japanese Whisky in recent years.
Highly Limited Special Edition
According to Suntory, this particular bottling was a special gift for select retailers who attended the company’s 60th Anniversary event in 1984, the year the whisky was distilled. This release from cask #W12172 was then bottled this year for the event attendees. A highly limited number bottles were produced making this an exclusive bottle you are unlikely to see sold again.
